What my Adventure has Taught me

  1. A profound appreciation for nature. Ireland is bloody gorgeous.
  2. Openness to people -- first-impressions aren't everything. In fact, they're usually wrong.
  3. You can rely on yourself for the basics -- food, necessities, cleaning, etc.
  4. Look at how well you've budgeted! You can rely on a small amount of money, even if it's not always the funnest.
  5. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
  6. You can be an outdoorsey-type. You love to rock climb!!
  7. You have tried plenty of new foods -- and were right to not have tried them before.
  8. Willingness to try new things -- it was so hard before, but now it's like second-nature.
  9. It's hard, but ask yourself why. Then you'll discover more about yourself, and realize it's not that hard after all.
  10. A larger appreciation for friends and family - look at how much you've missed them.
  11. How to live outside your comfort-zone.
  12. You're human, not some math-genius-robot. You have feelings -- sometimes upsetting ones, but there are good ones too. I promise.
  13. You can do it.
